Layouts # 5 -8 2011 Challenge ***Swap Spoiler***

I always participate is this fun little swap organized by Tina, one of my CTMH sisters. We build a double page layout, then make all the pieces for 5 more people. We send everything except the 12x12 base, making it more economical to mail....sometimes! My pieces for one of the layouts were 11x11 anyway! We have 6 categories this time and I participated in four of them. So in order, these are layouts for Spring (first two photos....one showing flip flap open) titled "Spring Rain", Male Child category titled "Party Animal(s)", Adult Male category titled "My Guy", and Home category (doing something at home) titled "Dinner Party". All material used are Close To My Heart with the exception of a couple of Martha Stewart punches and my Cricut.

Layout # 9 2010 Layout Challenge & Song Challenge

This is a layout that I just did for one of my gatherings. Lots of little "techniques" - paper pleating, made our own glitter brads, 2nd generation stamping, paper tearing, distressing. The title comes from the Taylor Swift song "Love Story" which was another challenge issued by the gal who started all of this! All products are Close To My Heart except the organza ribbon which came from Michaels and I used Fiskars "threading water" punch on the border.
I entered this layout in the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge - Heartshttp://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.com/2010/01/challenge-2-hearts.html

All products are Close To My Heart: White daisy, indian corn blue, and pansy purple cardstock, B&T from "Sweet Home" , Dimensional elements snowflake was painted with "Create A Shade" paint and sprinkled with Prisma Glitter; stamped images from "Snow Flurries" , January Stamp of the Month: "True Friends", and "Posterboard Alphabet". Also used white daisy grosgrain ribbon, white daisy embossing powder, Versa mark, Petal ink pad, and Connections Club Pearl. The journalling was done with a white "Signo" pen which is not CTMH. The layout used is from Aspen Workshop On The Go.
