Hostess Club Layout

My hostess group is an awesome group of ladies, we've had lots of fun creating layouts together.  Last month we did a "10 Things" layout which I haven't photographed yet, and this month we did a layout right out of the CTMH Idea Book....page 95 to be exact.  The colours are different because I "CASed" fellow consultant Susan William's choice of papers and used our Ivy Lane paper pack to create this layout.  Our Artbooking and Art Philosophy cricut cartridges were also used to create this lovely layout. It took us a little longer to make this one, but the results were worth the extra effort!

I love the hexagon overlay and the flowers are so sweet.  All materials used were CTMH except for the punch to do the leaves.  Now to find some photos to add. :-)

Valentines Card

Do you celebrate Valentines Day in a big way, or with small gestures of love?  Do you celebrate it at all? I know some of my single friends are not fans of this holiday but you can choose to show your love and affection for family or friends if you are not "romantically involved" with someone.  I did this card as a make n' take at my recent Open House and I love the ombre technique on the heart overlay cut with CTMH's Artbooking Cricut cartridge:

I used a brayer and three ink colours, Ruby, Cotton Candy, and Blush to achieve the ombre effect.  Simple card to express my love to my valentine!

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we really love feedback from our blog viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop.  If you came from Sherri Ballantyne of  http://sherisays-justscrapit.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-brae-ers-blog-hop-new-stuff-from.html then you are in the right place!

My project features our new Picture My Life Skylark Scrapbooking Program and our Skylark paper collection and embellishments.  I love the versatility of the Picture My Life cards and page protectors.  Not all of us have time to scrapbook a traditional two-page layout, but these kits help us create our beautiful layouts faster and easier.  I have combined a traditional layout on the left, with the Picture My Life complimentary page on the right.  What do you think?  I wish the colours looked more accurate as this photo really doesn't do the paper justice. You could do both pages with the PML cards and your photos, making your scrapbooking even faster!  The 4 x 3 cards also fit perfectly into our 12 x 12 Display Tray as well.

There are eight different Picture My Life Scrapbooking kits and they can be seen here:  www.rozkelly.ctmh.com

CTMH Blog Boosters New Product Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book Hop

I am always excited when our new Idea Books come, so many new products to play with and get excited about!  This hop will showcase many of those new products so grab a beverage and enjoy the hop.  This hop is a linky hop so you can't get lost, just click on the links at the bottom of this post to visit other blogs....all the links will be posted on each blog.  Check back in the next few days as new posts may be added up to the 9th of February!  Happy hopping!

My new product that I wanted to use is our Picture My Life(TM) Surf's Up Scrapbooking Program.  At first I planned on doing a layout, but then I thought about the Display Tray that I had on hand, empty, dusty, and looking quite unused!  This literally took me 1/2 hour to do, thanks to our Picture My Life (TM) cards.  They come in two different sizes and the smaller cards fit perfectly into the 4 x 3 spaces, I just chose the photos I wanted to use and rounded the corners to match the cards, then added the embellishments to the tray and voila!

This is just one way to use this Picture My Life Scrapbooking programs. They come with a variety of cards, perfect for journaling, photo mats,  or just using as accents.  The kit also comes with an assortment of our new page protectors that make putting together a layout a snap.  If you don't have time to scrapbook, this is the perfect solution for you!  There are eight different collections that you can see here: www.rozkelly.ctmh.com
