Layout # 84 & 85 2010 Layout Challenge

These are my layouts from our Miracle Kit that was featured as a promotion not too long ago. I purchased a bunch of extra kits and will be teaching this as a workshop. The neutral palette used in this kit is wonderful, any photos would look fabulous and the embellishments are customized to accentuate your photos so it pulls everything together! The kit comes complete with all the papers, embellishments, flip flaps, etc to create two double-page layouts!

Layout 79 - 83 2010 Layout Challenge Pt.2 Washington Album in a Day

Part two of the Washington Album! Please see my previous post for description and list of products used. Thanks for looking....let me know what you think!

Layout # 75-78 2010 Layout Challenge Pt. 1 Washington Album in a Day

I created this Washington album using Robin Garrow's 18-1 workshop cutting guide....the second time I've used this now! I love how quickly the layouts go together (like in a day!) so that projects get done, but still look beautiful. Embellishing takes a little longer and I ended up using two whole packages of 4x6 Flip Flaps so that I could get all my photos on without creating more pages. I guess ideally, I could have cut double paper and made 36 pages instead! I am teaching this as a workshop on October 23rd for anyone interested in learning how to do this.

Materials - all CTMH - Passages level 2 paper pack, 4 x 6 Flip Flaps, cardstock in cocoa, barn red, bamboo, colonial white and black, My Acrylix "Live Inspired" & "Tiny Typewriter" , Filigree Charms, Mocha Opaques, photo clips, "Pizzazz" irresistables, "Journey" journalling jots, inks in cocoa, chocolate, and barn red, 1 1/4" circle punch. Non CTMH supplies included grosgrain ribbon and Stone Script, Graphically Speaking, & Alphalicious Cricut cartidges.

Layout # 74 - 2010 Layout Challenge

Our new "Olivia" paper pack is the base for my hostess club layout this month! I love the fall feeling of these papers but they have a brighter pear colour on the backside. I have also used one our our new My Acrylix sets called "The Present" and the leaf is from a retired set called "Autumn Spendor". The new Mocha Opaques, plus ribbon, brads and Glitz Stardust glitter glue were also used to embellish. Cardstock colours are barn red and bamboo.

Layout # 73 2010 Layout Challenge

OK, if I hear one giggle, one snicker, one laugh.......

This is a really old photo of me and I'm not even sure what year but guessed at 79/80 based on the length of my hair! I wanted to try to do a "trifecta" with the Design Dollies (www.designdollies.blogspot.com) (which is basically combining three challenges into one layout) and I think I've done it! The challenges were: 1. Use black, pink, green and white; 2. Scrapbook a school layout, but not your kids - it had to be of ourselves; 3. Use the sketch for the sketch challenge. The third was the most difficult and I had to make some minor changes but the sketch was my inspiration. I love trying to do challenges because I always end up with a layout that I would never have done if left to my own devices! Sometimes that's bad, sometimes it's good.

Materials used: Papers from We R Memory Keepers and Scenic Route, cardstock from my stash, Basic Grey Bling It, MS border punch, Little Yellow Bicycle Clear Cut Shapes, Maya Road journalling spot, unknown flower, and brad from Paper Pizzazz.

Paper Candies!

I just had to share these with you 'cause I had so much fun making them! I participated in another swap with some CTMH sisters and I needed to make 3 pieces of "candy" for each participant. Another requirement for me was to use our new Hooligans paper pack to create my candies. This is what I came up with using two of our new stamp sets as well....."The Boo Crew" and "Party Animal". I think the google eyes make these fun!

Layout 67-72 2010 Layout Challenge

This is one of the layouts we did at Convention this year, and I am teaching it as a workshop because I love the concept so much. It is actually 6 pages (2 are back to back) but because of the way it is displayed using our new, larger Flip Flaps it only requires the use of two page protectors in your album. Ingenious! It's perfect for scrapbooking an event that you have a lot of pictures for! All products used are CTMH: Magnifique Level 2 paper pack, My Acrylix "Circle of Love", Flip Flaps (3 sizes), Foundry Flourishes, Mocha Opaques, inks in Chocolate, Pear, and Lagoon.
