I participated several times in a “layout” swap with some of my CTMH sisters where we created all the pieces to complete 12 x 12 layouts, swapped and added them to our own cardstock bases!  This layout was one that I received from Kim McArthur and I am finally able to use it for some sweet pictures of my grandson!  BIG NEWS too, I am going to be a grandma again!!!   

This layout uses a retired paper pack from CTMH called “Caboodle” and I added some MS embellishments, but doesn’t that little teddy bear just look so cute on this layout!  

Our stamps are not just for card making!!  The stamp set I chose is called “Teddy Bear Birthday” A1143 and I think that little bear is so cute for baby layouts!

Layout # 60 2010 Layout Challenge

I'm home!!!! The Close To My Heart Convention in Washington, DC was FANTASTIC! I met so many great consultants from across Canada and the US and the corporate staff couldn't do enough for us! It was a truly wonderful experience! And Washington is a beautiful city.....I was so glad Kim and I stayed an extra couple of days to tour the city. I will be posting a couple of "sneak peaks" in the coming weeks but most of what I learned will be revealed at my Open House in August. If you'd like more details, send me an e-mail and I'll add you to my mailing list so you will be "in the know"!! For now, here is a layout I completed with one of my hostess clubs before I left for my brother's wedding in Nova Scotia.

Materials Used: All CTMH - Caboodle Level 2 paper pak, colonial white and sweet leaf cardstock, sorbet ribbon, My Acrylix Treetops and Building Block Alphabet stamp sets, chocolate, sweet leaf, and crystal blue inks, Tiny Tabs, and chocolate marker.
