Knock, Knock.....anyone still out there?

It's been a long time since my last post, my husband keeps prompting me to post something!  You know it's been awhile when a guy notices something  So first to update everyone, my Mom is doing very well and is living with us now (for the time being) and that is why I've been away for so long.  I have just been enjoying the time with her, catching up after being away for seven years.  Her health issues are under control but now she worries about what the future will bring.  I find that she has lost her confidence to do things on her own....but that will come back with time.  We have been scrapbooking together a little bit though!  I am hoping to get back into the swing of things and be able to scrapbook on a more regular basis.  These are a couple of layouts that I did using a kit from Basic Gray:

I took the photos while the layouts were in page protectors so they have a bit of shine and the colours are a little brighter in real life than they appear in the photos.  So there, now I have posted something for 2012!  I'll be trying to get caught up with everyone's blogs in the next little while too!  Missed seeing what everyone was working on and hearing about what's been going on in your lives!

  1. Yay!!! I'm so glad your back!! I love your layouts...those pics of the trees are so cool! So glad everything is going well and your mom is doing better! Been thinking of you!
