Good morning! Well, the news is out that I am moving to Nova Scotia in July! I can hardly wait - not that I haven't enjoyed being in Winnipeg because for the most part, I have. The only bad memory I am taking with me is my experience working at the LSS! Oh, and the cold temperatures in the winter, and the mosquitoes in the summer, and ........OK, never mind....I really have enjoyed living here but my family and the ocean are calling to me from home! I have been away for seven years now, and my mom is not getting any younger, so it's time to be back so I can keep an eye on her! We will be on the road July 2nd and don't take possession of our new house until the 28th, so we've arranged a little over a week at a cottage once we arrive in NS. No Internet there of course, so my posts will be less frequent again. This is a layout that was done at Kim's retreat in ON in April. The base die-cut paper is BoBunny, the sentiment is a Tattered Angels Mist-able (really cool how the flocking resists the glimmer mist!), Jenni Bowlin bingo card, Little Yellow Bicycle flourish overlay, velvet ribbon, bling & flowers from my stash. The base cardstock is CTMH and I misted that as well with Tattered Angels Olive glimmer mist.

Very nice, my friend! I remember telling you how great this layout was when you were here! And thank you for introducing me to glimmer mists!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. You really did a fabulous job.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty layout Roz!! Great pic of you and your dh (: I just took out that same Bingo card for the lo I'm making right now (:
ReplyDeleteI totally understand about moving home. We lived in Thunder Bay for 7 years and even though we loved it and had amazing friends there, we really missed being close to our families. Have a safe trip!!!
Hey Roz, so glad I'm able to comment again! This layout is gorgeous, and I love the photo! You two look great together!!! And that is such exciting news that you'll be moving "home", I'm really happy for you! Have a safe trip, and hopefully we all "see" you before too long. Hugs, Roxy.
ReplyDeleteLove the layouts.....been absent lately!
ReplyDeleteTell me......does LSS stand for local scrapbooking store? Certainly understand that and I think many of us who didn't work there have had equallupy distressing memories. Oh well, live and learn huh?
